Sunshine Islands Bus Simulator (players call it SIBS) is a free Roblox game about driving a scheduled bus service across a fictional Hong Kong-style archipelago. You pick a route, work a shift, stop at every scheduled stand, open the doors, let AI passengers pay and sit down, then deliver them on time. Miss a stop or slam the brakes and they complain; finish clean and you earn experience, Sunshards and access to more of the map.
The city is not a backdrop. Sunshine Islands has 10 islands split across 8 zones, four strategic highways, tunnels, bridges and mountain roads, and the network is numbered the way a real transit authority numbers it: the first digit tells you which zone you are in, the last one tells you where you are going.

What to do in your first ten minutes
- Pick a shift on a two-digit inner-zone route (41, 42, 46, 47, 75). Inner-zone runs stay on one island group, so the layout is far easier to learn.
- Press P for the parking brake, start with W, and W becomes the accelerator once you roll.
- At the first stand — within about 7 metres — the game asks for the brake and the front door (K). Nobody boards until you open it.
- Wait for boarding, close up, and watch for the bell: passengers ring it at their own stop, so the next stand is on you.
- Finish without skipping a scheduled stop. Skipped stops are what silently cost you rewards.
How the route numbers work
- Two digits = inner zone (4x is Zone 4, 7x is Zone 7); three digits = inter zone (475 runs Zone 4 to Zone 7).
- Prefixes change the service type: N overnight, R event, S sightseeing, U university, C and F staff shuttles, Y typhoon diversion.
- Suffixes change the pattern: X express, P peak only, R event extra, Y typhoon replacement.
